I'm Patrick Frank. I've taught IT and programming since 1998. Microsoft certification courses in the early days, plus some Word and Excel on the side. The last twenty years have been at the university level. I teach undergraduates and design courses and degree programs, undergraduate and graduate.

I've been reading science fiction and fantasy for over fifty years. Most of it is audiobooks now. I write about that here, along with essays on AI and teaching, which is what most of my actual work is about these days. Now and then I make up a story instead.
